As a theatre artist, I believe in theatre’s ability to connect. I am wholeheartedly committed to creating work that humanizes social issues and challenges social paradigms. My artistry is fueled by a burning need to engage in nuanced conversation leading with curiosity as opposed to judgement, and love instead of division. I believe that more often than not people are reaching out, so in my work I try to reach back, trusting that out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing, there is understanding. I am drawn to work that reflects the world that I live in, and collaborators that inspire creativity and encourage exploration. In my life, I am constantly juggling the duality of genuine connection and fuckery, and my art reflects that. I create work that centers joy, encourages laughter, invites intersectionality, and ultimately challenges  individuals to empathetically view humanity. At its best, my work allows space for us to see each other, to embrace each other, to grow together, and to hue out an equitable future that celebrates our differences just as much as our similarities.
